Public Disclosure Requests

Most SWHA records are available for public review through the Public Records Act

Filing a Claim

Washington State law requires that you notify the Sedro-Woolley Housing Authority of a claim for damages prior to the filing of any legal action.

Fraud & Crime Reporting

The Sedro-Woolley Housing Authority needs your help to identify applicants, tenants, or landlords who commit fraud or abuse SWHA programs. This includes people who:

  • Do not report their full household income
  • Do not report everyone living in their household
  • Accept bribes or kickbacks
  • Rent or sublet their apartment or home
  • Commit crimes

If you believe someone is committing fraud to obtain housing assistance or is involved with criminal activity, SWHA wants to know.

To file a report, use your mobile phone or computer to fill out SWHA’s online fraud and criminal activity reporting form. The King County Housing Authority manages SWHA’s fraud and crime reporting investigation process as part of a contractual agreement between the two housing authorities.

Please note: the information you provide is strictly confidential. Due to federal and state law, SWHA cannot comment on the actions taken after your allegation is reported. However, we assure you that all allegations will be reviewed to determine whether fraud or criminal activity is taking place. The appropriate actions will be taken if such activity is proven.
