SEDRO-WOOLLEY HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD CHAIR RETIRES AFTER ALMOST A QUARTER CENTURY OF SERVICE
After nearly 25 years of service on the Sedro-Woolley Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, Chair Stanley Sygitowicz will retire June 18 from the board. Throughout his tenure on the board, Sygitowicz had a particular passion for ensuring that SWHA housing was updated and improved to the best possible standards.

SEDRO-WOOLLEY HOUSING AUTHORITY TO RECEIVE $189,590 IN STIMULUS MONEY
The Sedro-Woolley Housing Authority will receive funding as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to make improvements to Hillsview, a 60-unit public housing complex for seniors and people with disabilities. The money is part of a $4 billion boost for housing authorities nationwide to preserve and enhance the country’s public housing stock.
